BDS Detailing Terms of Service

This agreement sets forth the obligations between you, referred to as the "Client", "Customer", or "you", and BDS Detail (hereinafter referred to as "BDS", "Contractor", "Technician", "us", "our", or "we"), and outlines your responsibilities in connection with the service(s) you purchase. Your use of our service indicates your full acceptance of the terms of this agreement without any modifications by you. By booking or utilizing the services of BDS Detail, you hereby agree to the following terms:

Access to Water & Electricity

We require access to water and electricity for all our car detailing services. If you are unable to provide access to either resource, please reach out to us at (612) 403-3812, and we will work with you to find a solution. Please note that failure to provide access to water and electricity at the time of your appointment will result in an $25 cancellation fee.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. This allows us to fill the time slot and avoid an $10 cancellation fee. Please keep in mind the following:

We need 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.We may need to cancel or reschedule due to staff levels, weather conditions, or equipment failure.
If your vehicle and keys are not present at the time and location of the scheduled service, it will be considered a violation of our cancellation policy and will result in an $10 cancellation charge.

Operating & Moving Your Vehicle

Customer will give us access to your vehicle during the detailing appointment and any additional agreed-upon times. Make sure to provide us with the keys to the vehicle. By signing this document, you authorize our BDS Detail technician to operate and move your vehicle as necessary.

Time Limit

All detailing services have specific time limits based on the chosen package. See the time limits below for each package, excluding any add-ons. The assigned BDS Detail technician will keep track of time, starting as soon as they complete the initial setup and client check-in.

Detail Time Limits:
Good Package: 1.5 – 2.0 hours
Better Package: 2.5 hours
Best Package: 3.5 hours

Keep in mind, depending on how dirty your vehicle is, it may take longer than the listed times.

Quality of Service

We aim to provide you with the best possible service, but we cannot guarantee that our services will completely restore your vehicle to its previous or new condition. We will do our best within our resources, time, and expertise. After completing the job, we will inspect the vehicle together with you. If you are not satisfied with our service and inform us within 24 hours after the job completion, we will try to address your concern. Please note that BDS Detail will not be responsible for any concerns reported after 24 hours of job completion or if the final inspection was not conducted with our technician.

Accidents, Pre-Existing Condition & Damage

BDS Detail and its contractors are not responsible for any damage to the vehicle while in our care. We take great care in our work and have not had any accidents to date. If there is any damage to your vehicle during the detailing process, we will inform you of the incident. By using our detailing services, you agree not to hold BDS Detail liable for any pre-existing damage to your vehicle. Our liability is limited to the total amount of each job.

Fees, Terms of Service & Payment Terms

We charge an agreed upon amount for our service, which is indicated as the "Total Cost" on the final price. The duration of the service is for the amount of time reserved by us to complete the requested job, and not for any specific outcome. If the job takes significantly longer than expected, BDS Detail reserves the right to charge an additional fee of $20 per hour for extra cleaning. This fee may apply to vehicles that exceed the allotted time limit and will be discussed with you before or during the detailing process.

Providing Feedback & Photos

Please let us know your feedback by emailing us at (detail.bds@gmail.com). We reserve the right to use pictures of your vehicle for marketing purposes on our website (bdsdetail.com) or any of our social media platforms. Please note that your personal information will not be shown in these photos.

Termination of Service

BDS Detail reserves the right to cancel any maintenance plans or services with clients if we feel that the customer is not a good fit for our services at our discretion. Reasons for termination may include: circumventing the company and working directly with BDS Detail employees, exhibiting rude or abusive behavior towards BDS Detail employees, or any other reason we deem sufficient for termination.

BDS Detail Changes

"BDS Detail reserves the right to modify this statement at any time. Any changes to this Service Contract will be listed in this section, BDS Detail does not make any commitment to update the materials."

I Understand That

By using our services, you understand that BDS Detail cannot guarantee any specific outcomes or results with our detailing services.
BDS Detail limits its liability to the total dollar amount of each job.
If the job takes much longer than anticipated, we reserve the right to charge an extra dirty fee totaling $20 per hour on top of the total cost at the discretion of BDS Detail employees (we will warn you).
Deposits made are non-refundable because we order materials for the job on demand.
All sales are final.
